Oh dear God! Apparently we needed a special featuring four far-leftists having a conversation about what’s wrong with everyone else and what we can do to change it.

Streaming service HBO Max seems to have made another unpopular decision by having U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team (USWNT) co-captain Megan Rapinoe host a HBO Sports “conversation” between herself, socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, history revisionist and 1619 Project founder Nikole Hannah-Jones and some dude who’s apparently famous for being a comedian and television host, Hasan Minhaj. Yeah, I don’t know either.

What’s hilarious about this program is that HBO’s YouTube channel describes the “conversation” as “a fearless conversation.” It’s really “fearless” to have a conversation with three other people that agree with your views. It’s pretty easy to be “fearless” when you don’t get much pushback on the things you’re saying.

Oh, and don’t worry. Even though they’re not wearing masks, they do appear to be social distancing in case anyone cares.

At one point in the teaser trailer for the program, Rapinoe acts as if she’s really going to be digging into issues — without any views to provide opposition.

“For me, the point is to get the whole story,” Rapinoe said.

Right, because she cared about “the whole story” when being part of a discrimination lawsuit filed against the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) arguing for equal pay for the women’s soccer team in comparison to the men’s team.

Unfortunately for Rapinoe and her co-plaintiffs, the judge in that case ruled against the women, essentially deciding that the “women’s players were paid more in total and on a per-game basis than their male counterparts,” according to an ESPN article from May.
