It’s crazy to think that gas price averages would be a daily story. But with the price taking massive leaps — literally on a daily basis — you, the people, deserve to be regularly updated on the things that impact you the most in THIS country.
According to AAA, the national average for a single gallon of gas now sits at $3.837, as of Friday morning. This is up 11 cents from Thursday.
That’s right. Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. The national average for a gallon of gas went up 11 cents in a single day, just a day after the same average went up seven cents on Thursday as compared to Wednesday.
AAA also reported, according to their charts, that gas has gone up 26 cents in a single week, 41 cents in a month and $1.09 in a year.
The fact that gas has only gone up $1.09, on average, in a year, despite going up 18 cents in two days is astonishing and shows how turbulent our current situation has been and continues to be.

As a personal update, I can tell all of you that the local gas station by where I live went up another eight cents from Thursday to $3.99/gal. after going up 10 cents the day before. So, my local gas station is in line with the increase in the national average.
Save your pennies — whatever those are worth anymore — because the pain inflicted upon us from world leaders, including our own, doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.
