In this week’s Wacky Moments of Leftist Extremism:
It’s been a rough week for America’s left, and particularly for the media. All day Tuesday, TV journalists used their national platform to vent all of their despair and rage over the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion heralding the death of Roe v. Wade. MSNBC’s Morning Joe, legal analyst Neal Katyal summed it up: “Honestly, I wanna cry. I wanna cry in so many ways.”
On Thursday, the NBC, ABC, and CBS morning shows all happily seized on President Biden issuing a supposed “warning” about how “extreme” the Republican Party has become when it comes to standing up for the rights of babies. Rather than challenge or fact-check the nasty, partisan, and divisive rhetoric coming from the President, the networks simply cited him as if he were a neutral expert stating a fact.
Morning Joe’s Mika Brzezinski said that Biden's description of the MAGA agenda as "extreme" doesn't go far enough! "Extreme" is somehow "still in the category of normal." Joe Scarborough said vulgarities and stressed over "What lies ahead if Trumpists keep winning?”
On Wednesday, CNN’s Don Lemon proved once again how little he knows about anything he discusses. Lemon asked his guests on Don Lemon Tonight why the Second Amendment is “sacrosanct” but Roe v. Wade is not. Perhaps if Don and his guests actually read the Constitution, they might know the right to bear arms is in the Second Amendment of the Constitution, and the right to an abortion appears absolutely nowhere.
