Just days after the killing of Iran’s Major General Qasem Soleimani following an attack by Iranians on the U.S. Embassy in Iraq, members on the floor of the Iranian Parliament did what they usually do — chant to “death to America.” The anger and chanting followed not only the death of Soleimani, but also President Donald Trump's threat that the U.S. currently has "targeted 52 Iranian sites" should Iran decide to retaliate against the U.S.

Take a look below:

Shocker! I can’t believe that an Iranian would ever chant such a disturbing phrase…

I’m kidding. I totally believe that they would do that. Why? Because I’m aware of U.S./Iranian relations in the last 40 years. This should come as no surprise to anyone with half a brain in their head, so we’ll have to excuse the aforementioned celebrities and politicians for not grasping this typical practice.

If you remember, no more than 24 hours after President Donald Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Iran nuclear deal in May 2018, “death to America” chants could be heard ringing throughout Parliament along with members burning a copy of the American flag.

It’s a complicated situation going on in the Middle East currently. But, if Iraq wants U.S. troops to leave, we should pull them out. Not because of some kind of fear, but because it’s time to stop helping people and governments in countries who have no interest in being a partner in promoting peace, no matter what the prominent religion in that region of the world portrays itself to be. Sorry, not buying it anymore.

Iran, or anyone else in the Middle East who harbors terrorists, can chant “death to America” all they want. It just continues to show the pettiness and jealousy of governments who are inferior to the U.S.

Basically, they hate us ‘cause they ain’t us.
