It seems that the Biden White House’s decorating philosophy is ‘out with the old, in with the new.’ Gone are the famous Winston Churchill bust, a portrait of our 7th President, Andrew Jackson, and as of Tuesday, a collection of iconic Norman Rockwell paintings. In the place of these works of art? “Jumbo photos” of Biden.

Per Politico, the artworks removed are part of Rockwell’s “So You Want to See the President” series, a collection of sketches illustrating various Americans, including military officers and senators, waiting in the White House to meet with the president.

The titles of the works are “Gentleman of the Press,” “Beauty and Publicity Man,” “The Press Get a News Flash” and “A Hero is Interviewed.”

The sketches, which have adorned the White House walls since 1978, are likely leaving the White House as a result of a dispute with descendants of Steve Early, a press secretary under President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Early had been given the prints by Rockwell, and his family had later agreed to lend the works to White House. Reportedly, descendants of the press secretary wanted to reclaim the prints, leading to their eventual removal.

Though the Biden administration likely did not have much of a choice regarding the removal of the Rockwell sketches, their decorating sense in the aftermath leaves something to be desired.

The Biden White House decided to do with the empty space on their walls what they do best: self-promotion.

Reportedly decorating White House walls is now a collection of enlarged photos of Biden.

Perhaps they couldn't find a frame large enough to contain an image of the inflation he's brought about since entering the White House.
