Angry parents and concerned citizens gathered in protest outside the Dolley Madison Public Library in McLean, Virginia on Saturday.

The library recently paired pedophilic and pornographic material with the Bible in a display. Many complained about the nature of the books and how offensive it was to place next to the Bible, especially during Advent.

The display has since been removed.

Stacy Langton, the organizer of the protest who wears a “Mama Grizzly” shirt (an homage to Sarah Palin and the name of her group), spoke with MRCTV about what led up to the protest. She says the library put up a display of troll dolls showcasing the Bible alongside gender queer books that she considers pornography. She says the display is a  "slap in the face" to parents and Christians in Fairfax County.

Former Trump aide Sebastian Gorka called the Mama Grizzlies the reason Glenn Youngkin won the governorship in Virginia. He called upon Govenor-elect Youngkin to follow through with his promises on day one.

“And [Youngkin] says what? ‘I’m going to ban CRT (Critical Race Theory) day one,’” Gorka said before directly addressing Youngkin. “Glenn, you better. We’re watching you, Glenn. You better keep your promises.”

Members of the Mama Grizzly coalition in suburban Virginia have had to step up and fill a seat for drag queen story hour in an effort to protect children from having to witness such a confusing and disturbing attack on their innocence.

How is this not already against the law, you might ask? It is.

“In addition, Section 1466A of Title 18 of the United States Code makes it illegal for any person to knowingly produce, distribute, receive, or possess with intent to transfer or distribute visual representations such as drawings, cartoons, or paintings that appear to depict minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and are deemed obscene,” one protester read.

Langton thinks the police, FBI, and Department of Justice need to “do their damn job!”

Langton says her next move is to lobby Congress and push to get parental advisory stamps on books, harking back to Tipper Gore’s campaign to get parental advisory stickers on music albums and video games.

Her wish for 2022 is getting a Senate floor debate on this issue. She might get one.
