Don’t you wish just once that Leftists wouldn’t talk out of both sides of their mouths? We’re constantly drummed over the head with mindless meanderings from lawmakers who were elected to represent the people, not to preach to them. Their self-righteousness knows no bounds.

Case in point is Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) who spoke out on Tuesday after a reporter asked what impact women are having on the Senate Judiciary Committee, of which she is a member.

Of course, Hirono played the “all-women-are-victims” card and made a blanket statement essentially calling men the scourge of the Earth. She constantly of “unfairness” towards women, especially the “victimization” of the woman who is the accuser of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, Christine Blasey Ford.

“But really, guess who’s perpetuating these kinds of actions?” Hirono smugly said. “It’s the men in this country. And I just want to say to the men in this country, ‘Just shut up and step up. Do the right thing for a change!’”

Check out what this overpaid bureaucrat had to say:

Oh, what a brave and courageous woman Hirono is! I had no idea that my gender is responsible for all the ills of the world.

What about Juanita Broaddrick, Sen. Hirono? Why aren’t you championing her? Why are you so silent on the accusations against your colleague, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.)? Why aren’t you blasting former president Bill Clinton’s wife, Hillary Clinton, for the “victimization” of his accusers?

Shockingly, CNN put out this short video two years ago on how Hillary handled her husband’s infidelity and his accusers:

It's funny how selective Leftists are in defending accusers when it's convenient to their own cause.

And what about all the things you enjoy as a Leftist woman in the U.S. that couldn't have been possible without men? Roe v. Wade? The right to vote? I could go on, but you get the point. Men aren't perfect, but women like Hirono need to realize they aren't either.

Self-righteousness is not a good look for Hirono, especially when her statements contradict themselves.
