Watch This Railgun Made By 3D Printing Fire A Projectile At 560 MPH

An Imgur user recently uploaded a number of photos and videos showing a homemade railgun created by 3D printing. While not much is known about user "NSA_Listbot," one thing is for sure: he has made one incredible creation.

 

The handheld railgun houses six capacitators and delivers more than 3,000 kilojoules of energy per shot, reaching speeds of more than 560 mph. It can fire carbon projectiles, Teflon/plasma rods, graphite, and aluminum and copper-coated tungsten like this:

Of course, Arnold Schwarzenegger already proved railguns are useless against a slow moving Austrian, so how impressive is this really?
