House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tripped over her own shoes and just about knocked over her podium Thursday after a reporter asked her to name one “signature accomplishment” newly-announced 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Robert “Beto” O’Rourke had during his three terms as a Texas congressman.
Unfortunately for Pelosi – and O’Rourke, it seems – the Democratic leader couldn’t think of one, instead relying on a nearly unintelligible gobbledegook about the former congressman's "vitality" and some stuff about environmentalism.
