WATCH: NORAD, Air Force Brief Congress on Plans to Track Santa This Christmas

During a hearing in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) asked whether NORAD and the United States Air Force are fully prepared to track Santa this Christmas season.

Thanks to our men and women in uniform, Congress and children across the country can rest assured that plans are already underway.

Cotton took the opportunity to thank those serving in U.S. armed forces, working hard through the holidays to ensure the safety of the American people.

“I think it’s a welcomed reminder that, while most Americans are at home enjoying Christmas with their families, that our airmen, soldiers, sailors, and Marines -- whether they’re in NORAD or around the world -- are out there keeping us safe and defending our values that make this country great,” said Cotton.
