Maxine Waters lost her ever-loving mind on the House floor this week after a Republican congressman dared to suggest the country should stop focusing so much on what divides us and focus on what brings us together as a nation.

It all went down during a committee debate on nixing Obama-era anti-discrimination rules against auto-lenders, where one GOP congressman pointed out that the nation may be better served by coming together rather than falling apart.

“We are trying to make sure we are making America great every day in every way and the best way to do that is to stop stalking about discrimination and start talking about the nation,” Pennsylvania Rep. Mike Kelly said Tuesday, directing his comments to Waters. “We’re coming together as a people, in spite of what you say.”

“I want you to know that I am more offended as an African American woman than you will ever be. And this business about making America great again, it is your president that’s dividing this country,” Waters responded.

She continued her rant for well over a minute, even as Committee Chairman Tom McClintock tried to intervene as she screamed accusations at her fellow congressman (which, by the way, is against committee rules).

“I don’t appreciate that you did not interrupt him when he was making those outrageous remarks about him knowing more about discrimination than I know about discrimination,” Waters hollered. “I resent that and I resent the remark about making America great again. He’s down here making a speech for this dishonorable president of the United States of America.”

“Having said that, I reserve the balance of my time. And no, I do not yield, not one second to you,” she yelled.

Because how dare a white congressman suggest we should focus on the things that unite us as a nation, rather than the myriad differences progressives love to hype as “discrimination”?

How dare he not grovel before Waters’ innate, insurmountable victimhood as a black woman?

For that matter, how dare anyone question this woman, who uses made-up statistics and compares an American president to a murderous North Korean dictator and hangs out with anti-Semitic Muslim leaders who praise Hitler? She’s a black woman, for heaven’s sake! And lord knows, it’s NEVER acceptable for a white lawmaker to question a black woman in the halls Congress.

Unless, of course, the white congressman is a Democrat and the black woman is an urban mom speaking out against abortion. Then it’s fine.
