In this week’s Wacky Moments of Liberal Expression:
In years past the leftist media used “undisclosed sources” in order to report fake news, now they are disclosing their sources… they are from Iran.
A former top CIA official had to explain to CBS just why it’s unwise to believe Iranian propaganda claiming that 80 members of the U.S. military were killed during the country's air strike. This Morning co-host Gayle King seemed to equate equally the Iranian propaganda outfit and western reporting, citing “conflicting information.”
MSNBC’s Katy Tur doesn’t want to question Iran, but certainly wants to question President Trump. “We are asking once again, where is the evidence?,” Tur whined in response to the President’s description of Iranian terrorist Qasem Soleimani as an imminent threat to the United States. She then oddly decided to comment on the race and gender of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who stood behind Trump during his speech: “Flanked by stern white military men, the President addressed the world this morning.”
CNN’s Erin Burnett actually goes as far as defending Iranians chanting “Death to America” as just a “trope” that’s not “seriously meant.” Sure.
On Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski brings the latest anti-Trump conspiracy theory to the small screen as she strongly suggested that President Trump is blackmailing Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio. She first wondered out loud what Trump "has on" Graham. She later suggested that the President has dug up "dirt" on Graham and Rubio, and has them "under his thumb," coercing them into saying positive things about him.
