A 62-year-old grandfather risked his own life in a heroic move to save his young granddaughter from an oncoming train at Wentworthville Station in Sydney, Australia this past Sunday.
The man was buying tickets, when his granddaughter's stroller rolled over the platform ledge onto the train tracks.
A report from 9News, shows the grandfather jumping onto the tracks, scooping up his granddaughter in the stroller, and putting her back onto the platform.
The train conductor saw what was transpiring, and blew a warning horn. Fortunately, the grandfather was able to run down the tracks and get back on the platform just in the nick of time.
Footage of the entire incident was captured on the station's security camera.
