In one of the most stunning examples of survival of the fittest you will ever see, a video taken in Zambia Africa shows a baby elephant miraculously fighting off 14 hungry lions.
The video is a bit hard to watch, but there’s nothing to fear as the baby elephant prevails in epic fashion.
While the video begins with the baby elephant--since nicknamed “Hercules”-- in a seemingly hopeless situation, covered by attacking lions attempting to drag the elephant to the ground, it ends with the elephant triumphantly charging the lions until the last one gives up on the idea of a pachyderm dinner.
“In the 30-plus years that I have been a safari guide in Zambia at the Luangwe Park, never have I seen anything like this,” said a guide who was with the group who filmed the encounter.
In all likelihood you haven’t seen anything like this amazing struggle either.
