A Washington Post columnist proposed an outrageous alternative to deporting illegal immigrants: deporting Republicans instead.
Amid controversy surrounding the administration's "zero tolerance" policy at the border that has resulted in hundreds of child migrants being separated from their parents, columnist Max Boot, who's also a CNN analyst, apparently believes America would be better off without "contemptible Republican cowards."
“If only we could keep the hard-working Latin American newcomers and deport the contemptible Republican cowards — that would truly enhance America’s greatness,” Boot said in his column entitled, "Has Trump finally gone too far?"
To recap: keep the illegals, while deporting members of the party that actually wants to fix America's broken immigration system. A Washington Post "conservative" columnist thinks this is a fine idea.
Jennifer Rubin tweeted, "yes!" as she referenced Boot's remarks. Why Rubin still claims to be conservative, the world will never know.

Boot himself used to claim that he was a Republican but just recently said he is leaving the party. Now it appears he is dedicating his life to the resistance by making outrageous statements just to score brownie points with the Democrats.
If the liberal media truly wants to reform immigration policy, they should start proposing actual ideas, not engaging in fruitless Republican smearing.
