Yet another unlikely source has defended the right of Ann Coulter to speak on college campuses.

During an appearance on CNN on Monday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) was asked about her view on U.C. Berkeley's attempt to cancel Coulter’s talk out of security concerns and former Democratic National Committee chair Howard Dean’s tweet claiming hate speech is not protected by the First Amendment.

“You know, look. Ann Coulter has just gotten a bigger platform because someone tried to deny her a chance to speak,” Warren said. “My view is let her speak and just don’t show up. If you don’t like it, don’t show up.”

After Berkeley canceled Milo Yiannopoulos’ talk admist violent protests, his book sales reportedly increased 12,740 percent. His book deal has since been canceled.

Warren’s remark comes just days after Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) also defended Coulter’s right to speak.

Sanders called it a “sign of intellectual weakness” to feel the need to disrupt or force the cancellation of conservative speakers.

Instead of instructing people to just not show up if they disagree with Coulter, Sanders told people to “ask her the hard questions” and “confront her.”
