Walmart Refuses to Print Photo of Couple Holding Shotgun

A Walmart employee in Dallas refused to print a couple’s wedding photo in which the husband is holding a shotgun because he believed it promoted “gang culture”?

The couple, Stephanie Wehner and her fiancé Mitch Strobl returned to a Walmart in Dallas Texas to pick up a set of photo’s just days before their wedding.  However only 12 of the 13 photos that they ordered were given back to them.In place of the missing photo was a slip that read: 'MINUS ONE 5 X 7. NO WEAPONS.'

The clerk told the couple that Walmart has a policy against printing photos containing weapons because it promotes “gang culture.” This, despite the fact that Walmart actually sells shotguns.

Looking at the couple, it seems unlikely that they belong to a gang.  Unless they’re at war another gang that's made up of turkeys.

In fact, Mr Strobl, writes manuals for hunting safety and outdoor recreation for a living.

The Walmart photo center’s terms of agreement state:

“Expressions of abuse, offensive language and/or imagery, obscenity or pornography, including but not limited to: child abuse, child pornography, depictions of minors engaged in sexual conduct or explicitly sexual situations, or any other material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable state or federal law, or violating any laws or regulations of any governing body.”

“It also states that: “Unlawful, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, invasive of another's privacy, hateful or otherwise unsuitable as determined by WALMART.COM' would lead to an online account being taken down.”

It doesn’t say anything specific about firearms.

Walmart apologized for the couple, gave them the picture and a nice gift card to go along with it.

But Walmart is going to be really embarrassed if it turns out the Srobls actually belong to MS-13.
