Three-time contestant on "The Apprentice" and former White House aid Omarosa Manigault-Newman flipped on her once close friend Donald Trump after accusing him of racism in her new book and releasing secretly recorded tapes from her time in the White House.

In her book, “Unhinged,” Newman claims that there are tapes of Trump saying the n-word while off-camera during Apprentice shoots. She claims to never have seen these tapes, but has sources who claim they are real.

Newman also writes of her "growing realization that Donald Trump was indeed a racist, a bigot and a misogynist," while working in the White House.

"My certainty about the N-word tape and his frequent uses of that word were the top of a high mountain of truly appalling things I’d experienced with him, during the last two years in particular," she writes.

Newman even questioned Trump’s sanity as president, writing that his “mental decline could not be denied.”

In a response to the accusations, Trump called Newman a “lowlife” and White House press secretary Sarah Sanders accused her of lying.

“Instead of telling the truth about all the good President Trump and his administration are doing to make America safe and prosperous, this book is riddled with lies and false accusations," Sanders said. "It's sad that a disgruntled former White House employee is trying to profit off these false attacks, and even worse that the media would now give her a platform, after not taking her seriously when she had only positive things to say about the president during her time in the administration."

On NBC’s Today Monday morning, Newman released tapes of her conversations with Trump and Chief of Staff John Kelly in the Situation Room.

“Omarosa what’s going on? I just saw in the news that you’re thinking about leaving. What happened?” Trump asks on the recording.

“General Kelly came to me and said that you guys wanted me to leave,” Omarosa responds.

“No. Nobody ever told me about it,” Trump replies.

“Wow,” Omarosa says.

“You know, they run a big operation, but I didn’t know it,” Trump is recorded saying. “God dammit. I don’t love you leaving at all,” Trump says.

Kelly fired Newman in December 2017 because of her use of “strictly forbidden” White House car service and other staff violations.

In the other released tape, Kelly can be heard telling Newman that she had “pretty serious integrity violations.”

Sanders pushed back against Newman’s actions, calling them a “disregard for our national security.”

“The very idea a staff member would sneak a recording device into the White House Situation Room, shows a blatant disregard for our national security—and then to brag about it on national television further proves the lack of character and integrity of this disgruntled former White House employee,” White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in a public statement.

Trump gave his thoughts on Newman in a Twitter rant Monday morning.

“Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. People in the White House hated her,” he tweeted.

"She was vicious, but not smart. I would rarely see her but heard really bad things. Nasty to people & would constantly miss meetings & work. When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me - until she got fired!” he continued.

“While I know it’s ‘not presidential’ to take on a lowlife like Omarosa, and while I would rather not be doing so, this is a modern day form of communication and I know the Fake News Media will be working overtime to make even Wacky Omarosa look legitimate as possible. Sorry!” he concluded in a third tweet.
