By the end of the week, CNN was busy wrestling with President Trump's decision for the air strike that killed key Iranian military figure and Quds Force head Qasem Soleimani. They just couldn't give Trump credit, instead CNN repeated the idea that 'sure, Soleimani was bad BUT...'
On MSNBC they concluded that the air strike was the right move. It just wasn't the right president to do it.
