The media actually had some news to cover this week about a real whistleblower complaint regarding President Trump’s phone call to the Ukrainian president where he mentioned Joe Biden’s son – but the fake news media simply can’t report on the story - instead they just lie.
Moments after President Trump’s Wednesday press conference, CNN’s The Situation Room host Wolf Blitzer and chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta preyed on the fact that most people had not read the transcript of the phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and blatantly lied about the “favor” Trump asked for.
ABC and CBS didn’t want to be left out from lying about the contents of the phone call. Both broadcast news outlets misinformed their viewers and claimed the “favor” Trump asked of Zelensky was to investigate Joe and Hunter Biden, which is not the case.
Despite the infamous phone call appearing to be a nothingburger following the release of a transcript of the conversation, the liberal media appeared to be urging Congress to find a way to use it for impeachment anyway. During the Wednesday evening newscasts of ABC and NBC, ‘reading between the lines’ was a common refrain.
House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) decided he would try to find a way to get to impeachment. In a hearing with acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire Thursday, Schiff read from the transcript of President Trump’s call with the president of Ukraine. The only problem was; he was making it up . In their coverage ABC, CBS, and NBC ignored Schiff’s wild tale to keep stoking the engines of the media impeachment train.
The MSNBC host of Deadline: White House, Nicolle Wallace, declared President Trump to be a liar on Wednesday (how original) and used that as an excuse to cut away from the televised press conference almost 24 hours after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi declared the House's formal attempt to impeach the President. Perhaps Trump's truth telling about Joe and Hunter Biden was too much for her to tolerate. In any event, it was a stunning act of anti-journalism.
