Wacky MOLE: CNN's Mic-Grabbing Meltdown

Eric Scheiner | November 9, 2018

In this week’s Wacky Moments of Liberal Expression:

CNN’s Jim Acosta succeeds once again in trying to make presidential press conferences all about himself. Acosta and President Donald Trump got heated in an incredible post-Election Day press conference.

During the election night coverage, as liberal media darlings Stacey Abrams and Andrew Gillum faced close races in Georgia and Florida, senior White House correspondent Cecilia Vega and Nightlineco-host Byron Pitts sought to blame racism.

ABC tried to spin Ted Cruz’s win over liberal heartthrob Beto O’Rourke in Texas as a sign of presidential “hope” for 2020.

On Thursday's MSNBC Live, during a discussion of the mass shooting in Thousand Oaks, California, host Stephanie Ruhle became concerned that the attack would bolster arguments in favor of more gun rights.

MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews decided to take the opportunity to bash religion, telling Democratic Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) that “thoughts and prayers...should be outlawed” and instead we need more gun control.
