Vox Editor Accuses the GOP Of Backing Unethical Candidates, Then Gets Taught a History Lesson

Ezra Klein, the editor-at-large and founder of Vox, thought he was indicting Republicans for supporting Alabama Senator-elect Roy Moore when he shared an article from his site about Republicans rallying behind their candidate:

However, Twitter was quick to point out the fact that Democrats haven’t exactly kept the best company themselves.

For example, one of the top comments pointed out former Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner, who was just sentenced to 21 months for sexting an underage girl:

Another pointed out the late Robert Byrd, a Democrat who was also a member of the Ku Klux Klan:

Even former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton once opposed gay marriage:

Eventually, Klein was simply asked if he had thought through the implications of his post for both Democrats and Republicans:

Apparently, coloring all political candidates with the allegedly negative views of one only applies to one side of the aisle.
