Viral Video Shows a Black Man Slapping a Woman For Using the N-Word

Several days ago, a video emerged on YouTube showing a black man slapping a white woman in the face for taunting him and repeatedly calling him the N-word. The video has since gone viral, igniting a fiery debate over who was in the right.

In the video, two passengers become visibly embroiled in a heated argument. The unidentified black male criticized the woman next to him for her use of racial slurs, but she refused to stop, telling him, "You're missing your stop, n****r!"

The situation escalated when the man stood up to confront the woman.

“Do not put your face in my face,” she responded, while the man repeatedly answered, “Say it one more time. Say it one more time.”

As you might imagine, things didn’t end well for the woman sitting on the bus. The man planted himself by the exit door and repeatedly asked the driver to open the doors for his stop, all while locked into the argument with the female passenger.

He finally asked her for the last time, “Say it one more time, I dare you,” before slapping the woman across the face and exiting the bus.

The woman can be seen asking for the driver to “call the police,” claiming that her eyeball had been knocked out of its socket. The unidentified passenger who'd been filming the altercation finally broke his silence, telling the woman she shouldn’t have used the racial slur.

The video has sparked growing debate over whether or not the man was justified in slapping the woman for her offensive language, with those who say the woman deserved what she got for being intentionally insulting arguing against with those who say no one should be physically assaulted for something they said.

The liberal response to this situation could be summed up by the words of Michelle Obama when she said, “When they go low, we go high.” But as it turned out for this man and those in support of his reponse, that's much easier said than done.
