Social media giants Twitter and Facebook have publicly announced they will remove "misinformation" about COVID-19 vaccines from their sites - but that standard doesn't seem to apply to far-left personalities.

Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam, can be seen claiming that the COVID-19 vaccine is a “vial of death” in videos posted on the organization’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, as well as the groups YouTube page. According to the Daily Caller, Farrakhan made the statement at a convention held for the Nation of Islam’s annual Saviours’ Day on Feb. 28, nearly one week ago. Other speakers seen in the videos claimed that the vaccine is responsible for the deaths of over 900 people.

Incredibly enough, none of the videos have been removed, despite the supposedly extremely strict rules both social media companies have placed on COVID-19 "misinformation." Facebook stated on their website that they will remove any posts that claim the “vaccines are not effective at preventing the disease they are meant to protect against,” and “vaccines are toxic, dangerous or cause autism.”

Twitter similarly stated that they “will label or remove false or misleading information” concerning “the pandemic or COVID-19 vaccines that invoke a deliberate conspiracy by malicious and/or powerful forces.”

The videos are practically screaming to be censored, according to Big Tech standards. So why haven’t they been? Media Research Center videos have been censored for less, as have multiple posts - including factually proven ones - posted by other conservative and right-wing news outlets.

But while an MRC video with a superimposed potato head over Brian Stelter’s face is removed, videos from radical leftists claiming the COVID vaccine is part of a sinister plot to decrease the population have remained online.

“They’re making money now, plotting to give seven billion, five-hundred million people a vaccination. Dr. Fauci, Bill Gates and Melinda — you want to depopulate the Earth,” Farrakhan said in his video.

Nation of Islam minister Ava Muhammad also contributed to the outrageous misinformation spree, claiming during the same event that there have been “Fifty-eight percent of the deaths with the Pfizer vaccine; 41 percent from the Moderna vaccine."

It’s becoming increasingly clear that Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg will only take down vaccine misinformation from certain accounts. If that’s not censorship, then what is?
