Cell phone footage caught the terrifying moment when Jewish customers dining at a restaurant in New York City were viciously attacked by a hoard of pro-Palestine activists.
Video of the incident, which reportedly occurred at Benjamin’s Steakhouse Prime Thursday night, shows the mob screaming profanities and spitting on Jewish patrons dining at a table outdoors, while several restaurant employees tried valiantly to intervene and hold the crowd back. After a few tense moments, the crowd finally backed off and continued on down the street.

The alarming moment was just the latest in a string of violent attacks on Jews by Palestinian sympathizers in the Big Apple. Just one day before, two former Israeli Defense Force members found themselves accosted by nearly two-dozen pro-Palestinian aggressors outside a local bagel shop on the Upper East Side after the mob heard the pair speaking in Hebrew. Another Jewish man was left beaten and bloodied and was forced to seek refuge in a nearby store after being attacked by Palestinian protesters on May 12. Several weeks prior, four Jewish synagogues in New York City were damaged after an assailant began throwing rocks at the buildings' windows.
At least 20 were arrested Thursday during a massive clash between Israeli and Palestinian protesters in Times Square.
