In the wake of the recent controversy surrounding North Carolina's new bathroom law, which states that individuals must use the restroom that corresponds with the sex listed on their birth certificate, one Internet personality decided to conduct an interesting social experiment.
So, "Joey Salads" dressed up like a female and entered a woman's bathroom. As you will see, despite his dress and blonde wig, it's still pretty obvious that Joey is NOT a woman.
Audio from the stunt reveals that most of the women who were occupying the bathroom when Joey walked in were not too pleased to see Mr. Salads in their very gender-specific restroom -- though, one was surprisingly accommodating.
To be fair, it's not entirely clear whether the video shows actual reactions from random strangers or is staged purely for satirical effect. But it's not that big of a stretch to think most women wouldn't appreciate a large dude sporting facial hair and wearing a dress coming into their bathroom.
