VIDEO: Man Punches Woman in the Head Outside Queens Church When Asked to Leave

A search is underway for a man who punched a 53-year-old woman outside a church in Queens and ran away.

The man was asked to leave St. Michael’s Church on 41st Ave. at Union St. in Flushing for reportedly being disruptive in the building. Upon leaving, he sucker-punched a woman who was entering the church and facing away from him. He then made a break for it.

He was said to have been sleeping on the property.

According to NY Daily News, the NYPD on Tuesday released video of the attack which took place on Oct. 28. The man was described as “an Asian man with a beard and mustache between 20 and 30 years old, wearing a yellow and blue jacket and blue pants.”

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the suspect to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
