The Islamic State showed a video today it calls proof that a U.S. weapons drop missed the Kurds in Kobani, Syria, and instead fell into ISIS' hands - although, the Pentagon has denied this.

In the video, an ISIS fighter shows off dozens of grenades, explosives, and weapons contained in the U.S. weapons drop intended for the Kurds.

The video shows an IS militant rifling through the weapons and supplies, which include grenades, explosive canisters, and RPG rounds.

"Thank God, the Mujahideen have them now," the masked militant says.

The Free Beacon reported the video's Arabic title says: "Arms and ammunition delivered by American planes fell in areas controlled by the Islamic State in Kobani."

But Pentagon Spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby told Greta van Susteren on FOX that while one of the bundles from the U.S. airdrops missed the target: "We actually destroyed that bundle with a bomb so the ISIL terrorists couldn't get to it. So we assess it was a very successful mission. It was done under cover of darkness last night over Kobani."
