CNN threatened the Reddit user who created the so-called “Trump wrestling meme” that showed the President taking down the news network.
In response, people took to the internet to create their own memes mocking CNN as “fake news.”
Best-selling author and self-described “free speech activist” Mike Cernovich compiled several of the memes into videos.
With the hashtag #CNNBlackmail, Cernovich is encouraging others to “keep those memes coming” and “meme CNN out of existence.”
Some of the memes get pretty graphic, one superimposing CNN as ISIS.
