Video: Injured Puppy Gets a Second Lease on Life

New work week blues got you down? Well, check out this three-legged puppy that was recently adopted through the Adopt-An-ANGEL animal shelter based in Wilmington, N.C.

Holly was brought in as a five-week-old pup, but could barely walk because of one injured hind leg. The veterinarian found that the leg was crushed, so the doctors had to amputate the leg.

Now, because of the people at Adopt-An-ANGEL, Holly has been adopted according to the shelter's Facebook page.

The people in charge of shelter, who were fostering Holly, made this video to show how energetic, lovable and strong this puppy was despite the lack of one of her legs.

Watch as Holly shows her true spirit by playing and doing the difficult task of climbing up some stairs to the tune of the “Rocky” theme song:
