Former president Barack Obama fulfilled at least one promise he made while running in 2008 when he said, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”
Judging by this next story, Obama and his leftist mob have fulfilled that promise.
A Chicago police officer has, and is still having, his life ruined over his public display of love for America and the symbols that represent the country -- something that arguably would not have happened a decade ago.
John Catanzara, a 22-year veteran of the Chicago Police Department (CPD), recently posted a picture of himself online in front of his police vehicle holding up an American flag with a sign in front of him that read: “I STAND FOR THE ANTHEM. I LOVE THE AMERICAN FLAG. I SUPPORT MY PRESIDENT, AND THE 2ND AMENDMENT.”

According to WGN, Catanzara said that “he's has been fired from his private security job, has been told he will be reassigned from his cross-country coaching position at Hubbard High School and could soon face a reprimand at CPD.”
All of that, simply for loving his country, his president, and his constitutional rights.

He also says he's received threats as well as compliments since his post.
He told WGN he'd like to talk on camera but in light of what might happen disciplinary wise, he can’t.
Should a man who simply professed his love for the U.S. be punished as severely as Catanzara claims he’s been punished, while people who disrespect America get praised for it?
It’s almost as if we’re living in an episode of “The Twilight Zone.”
