UNHINGED Don Lemon: Time to ‘Shame’ Non-Vaxxed, ‘Leave Them Behind’

Ah, America, the country that the left and CNN are turning into the land of the woke, and the home of the afraid -- so afraid that we need to start harassing and shaming people who don’t get vaccinated.

That's exactly what CNN anchor Don Lemon advocated for on a recent segment of his cable news talk show, Don Lemon Tonight. Like many of his counterparts in the mainstream media, Lemon is so frustrated with unvaxxed Americans, and so careless towards American liberty, that he actually pushed shaming and bullying the “stupid” people who have yet to get vaccinated for COVID-19.

“I think we have to stop coddling people when it comes to … the vaccines, saying, ‘Oh, you can’t shame them. You can’t call them stupid,’” Lemon started saying to his CNN colleague Chris Cuomo on September 15. “Yes, they are [stupid],” he insisted.

Yep, let’s bully Americans. That should yield a higher vaccination rate, right?

“The people who are not getting vaccines, who are believing the lies on the internet instead of science — it’s time to start shaming them or leave them behind,” Lemon added.

“Leave them behind?” Is that not a cruel thing to say about fellow Americans?

And don’t get us started on the so-called “science.” What exactly makes something “science” rather than internet conspiracy theory? It seems that what’s considered "science" is just what CNN and other corporate news organizations approve of, not necessarily actual studies or proof.

And forget the fact that the experts CNN cites for "The Science" -- people like Fauci, for example -- have gotten their science wrong in the past or have pushed falsehoods for the greater good. At one point Fauci claimed masks don’t work in order to keep the mask supply available for health professionals.

But, no. You have to trust them, or else you're “stupid.”

Lemon kept going with his tirade, accusing unvaccinated people of neglecting the common good. “These people are being harmful to the greater good. You don’t have to listen to a minority of people who are being harmful to the greater good, and who are not acting on logic, reason, and science,” the host advised.

Oh, that’s interesting, Mr. Lemon, people don’t have to listen to non-vaccinated people, just like people don’t have to listen to cable news pundits who insist on getting a vaccine and reinforcing that with shaming and bullying.

But the irony is wasted on such Fake News suits. Lemon doubled down on the obtuse takes, adding, “And if you don’t believe that COVID is real and that it can affect your health and possibly take your life, don’t go to the hospital when you get sick.”

Sorry, Don. It’s not like we can characterize all unvaccinated Americans as being crazy conspiracy theorists who think the virus is a lie. Perhaps some people don’t want vaccine side effects that could mess with their unique health status, or perhaps some people are not getting it because doing otherwise incentivizes a government that is now threatening our jobs if we don’t take it.

And besides, do we really want to give in to pundits who threaten to “leave us behind?” Lemon can pound sand.
