U.N. Calling for Worldwide Ban on 'Cultural Appropriation' of Property

The United Nations (UN) is at it again, and this time, they want the whole world to stick to their cultural lanes.

In typical UN globalist fashion, the maniacally politically correct organization wants to make it illegal worldwide for any business to create a product that doesn’t fit into the creator’s specific culture.

In other words, it would be illegal for a Greek company to make any product that wasn’t Greek in origin.

This measure is actually being contemplated by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which is an agency of the UN.

According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC):

Speaking to the committee Monday, James Anaya, dean of law at the University of Colorado, said the UN's negotiated document should "obligate states to create effective criminal and civil enforcement procedures to recognize and prevent the non-consensual taking and illegitimate possession, sale and export of traditional cultural expressions.”

Leave it to a university indoctrinator to hate anything to do with capitalism. Anaya is the same man who once called for the UN to force the United States to “return stolen land, including Mt. Rushmore,” to Native Americans. He is also the UN's Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights and fundamental freedom of indigenous people.

Say that title ten times fast.

Does this mean that rapper Eminem should be put in jail because he made his money off of traditionally black music? I think not.

CBC also reported:

Since it began in 2001, the committee has been working on creating and finishing three pieces of international law that would expand intellectual-property regulations to protect things like Indigenous designs, dances, words and traditional medicines.

So what the UN and WIPO are saying is that you might be able to make an existing product better, but if the product developer is not a part of whichever culture the initial product originated, then the developer should be fined and/or jailed.

It’s not quite clear why the “U” in UN stands for united when all they ever do is either attempt to divide people or control every aspect of their lives.
