“Your favorite buttery, corn-fed trans femme sweetheart” at the University of Minnesota-Morris (UMM) has created a student organization called “Queer Devil Worshipers for Better Future” dedicated to combating the rise of conservatism on campus, promoting “social justice,” and fighting capitalism “and all that spawns from such treacherous lechery.”

An email obtained by Campus Reform shows a student named “Reed Larsen,” also known as “Reed Wallace,” (whom we’ll just call “Butters” to keep from using the “wrong” pronoun) stating Butters would like to start a “Satanist group at Morris to address the “budding conservatism on this campus,” which Butters finds “abhorrent.”

In order to become a member of “Queer Devil Worshipers for a Better Future,” participants must recite an “Infernal Oath,” which mandates members agree to “actively oppose all forms of oppression, including but not limited to, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism, ableism, capitalism and all that spawns from such treacherous lechery” and to “defend fellow mages of the pit from bigotry, oppression, violence, and psychic vampires whenever possible.”

The group's “Statement of Unfaith,” belief in which is also required to become a member, contains the proclamation that “Titties and Justice are more important than the law or institutions of society” and a reference to the song “Bubbly” by Colbie Collait without any context.

According to the group’s roster, there are only five members currently involved in Larsen’s group.

Although the alleged rise of conservatism on campus is what apparently fueled Larsen to create the group (in which Butters graciously serves as “Void Mother”), Larsen previously served as the co-chair of “E-Quality,” a group for “gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, pansexual ( GLBT or QLBTQQIAA ) students and allies” in 2014.

In 2014, Larsen also positively reviewed the annual campus drag show, which featured “children gagg[ing] (both on their eleganza, and a little something else if you believe the… rumors.)” and a drag queen named “Ms. Hillary Clit-ton,” who gave “FEMME EXECUTIVE BUTCH QUEEN REALNESS.”

This past February, Larsen was involved in the school’s drag show and apparently now serves as UMM’s LGBT programs intern, according to Butters’ Facebook page.
