Two men dressed as women drew gunfire as they tried to ram into the gates of the National Security Administration’s headquarters on Monday at Fort Meade, Maryland.

One of the alleged assailants is dead and the other injured along with a NSA police officer.

NSA police on the scene fired at the vehicle after the culprits blatantly ignored commands to stop and sped right toward them.

An investigation into the shooting incident is currently underway. The FBI released a statement earlier today saying that it does not believe the event is related to terrorism.

"We are working with the US Attorney's Office in Maryland to determine if federal charges are warranted," the FBI said.

White House Principal Deputy Press Secy. Eric Schultz said President Barack Obama has been briefed on the incident as of this morning.

NBC reported that the two men were "disguised as women," and a local news station reported that the men were driving a stolen Ford Escape where drugs and a gun were found following inspection.
