After spending all last week censoring an inconvenient bombshell about the Biden family followed by suspending a scientist for questioning the efficacy of a universal face mask mandate, Twitter has now frozen the account of yet another user for saying that “only females get cervical cancer.”
Which, last time anyone consulted a biology book, remains a true and scientific fact.
According to a post going viral on the platform Wednesday, a user who goes by the Twitter name @Hammer_Of_Glass was suspended and told their account violated the platform’s rules against “hateful conduct” when they tweeted that “only females get cervical cancer.”
Screenshots of the interaction with Twitter show the platform reviewed their appeal to the decision and determined that the tweet, which only stated a simple fact, was a violation worthy of an account suspension.
The story prompted backlash from a slew of users who pointed out the ridiculousness of Twitter’s decision and tempted them to ban everyone who repeated this basic truth.

Only female people can get cervical cancer. This is not an opinion, Twitter, it is medical science.— Lachlan Stuart 🌹🗽 (@Lachlan_Edi) October 21, 2020
It is disproportionate to elevate in norms or importance the undisputed emotional responses of a very small minority over the public health requirements of half the population. https://t.co/hqV6sXqgd5
