This Tweet Calling For Someone To Kill Trump Has 105,000 ‘Likes’ on Twitter

Remember how Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey swore up and down that his platform nips calls for violence in the bud, regardless of what side of the aisle they’re spewed from?

Remember how he assured us time and again that his company has zero bias against conservatives?

And remember how Twitter booted folks like @GayPatriot for saying things that someone might find "hateful," and still refuses to allow pro-life groups like Live Action to advertise on their platform while giving endless thumbs-up to Planned Parenthood?

Then here's a fun fact to add to your Twitter scrapbook: while scientific facts about unborn babies are too offensive, tweets calling for someone to kill a sitting U.S. president are apparently just fine.

For example, this tweet by random user “KEKE” (Or @Kbnwxxx_) shaming people for not trying to assassinate Trump has sat on the site for over a week and racked up more than 105,000 “likes,” 44,000 “shares” and 384 comments.

So far, as of 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, the 7-day-old tweet is still up and running. And while many of the responses to it are…shall we say, understandably critical? …there are more than a few that think KEKE may be on to something.

I felt this on a spiritual level

But I’m sure there’s absolutely no bias on Twitter, and the political right are the only ones who dog-whistle for crazy people to commit heinous acts of violence. Carry on.
