“Don’t be like Ashli Babbitt. That’s the message a wannabe dictator would send.”
Those were the words of former Fox News host Tucker Carlson during the fourth episode of his Twitter show. Babbitt was the pro-Trump protestor who was shot dead by Capitol Police on January 6, 2021.
Carlson’s latest episode examined the validity — through thick sarcasm — of the assertion that President Joe Biden is a “wannabe dictator,” as as Fox News chyron claimed the other day.
The point Carlson was trying to make in the quote at the top was that Biden is the very thing the chyron stated him as because as dictator would do anything and everything to stifle dissent among the populace — like shoot a veteran dead for protesting a questionable election.
Throughout the episode, Carlson gave example after example of what a dictator would do juxtaposed with pictures and video — which he slyly ignored to convey ignorance in the face of tyranny — of Biden doing exactly what a dictator would.
Whether it was constantly posing in sports cars with aviator sunglasses on to promote Biden’s strength, youth and vitality, or Biden claiming that Americans’ children are all of our children, not just the parents who actually are responsible to take care of said child, Carlson without saying Biden is acting like a dictator showed Biden acting like a dictator.
As of this writing, Carlson’s latest episode has over 5.7 million views with the video reaching over 17 million people…in less than 24 hours.
It looks like Carlson’s departure from Fox News might be a blessing in disguise as his audience seems to only be growing.
