Donald Trump opened his rally in Colorado over the weekend a bit differently than he usually does. With “I’m Proud to be an American” blaring in the background, Trump unfurled and waved an LGBT flag at the crowd.

The crowd erupted.

The flag, which had the words “LGBTs for Trump” scrawled across its middle, was reportedly given to Trump before the rally by someone in the audience.

Although this was all completely ignored by the media, Twitter made sure people noticed.

This come on the heels of a gay couple recently receiving death threats and threatening messages online after doing a quick interview with the Wall Street Journal expressing their support for Trump. The couple’s names and Facebook profiles were revealed by a gay activist’s blog post, encouraging people to “reach out to them.”
