President Trump on Friday signed the GOP tax reform bill into law.

“A lot of things are going to be happening in the U.S.A.,” said the President, sitting at his desk in the Oval Office.

“This is something I’m very proud of,” he added. "Great for our country, great for the American people."

He also signed a temporary spending bill, which allows the government to run through Jan. 19 and averts a shutdown, for now.

The budget bill includes a provision to provide $4 billion for missile defense as emergency defense funds.

Trump signed the bills before heading to Mar-a-Lago for the holidays.
