Trump Says He'll Pay $1M For Elizabeth Warren to Take a DNA Test

At a rally in Montana Thursday night, President Trump said he would donate $1 million to Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s charity of choice if she takes an ancestry test and it comes back that she is, in fact, part Native American.

"Think of it: she of the great tribal heritage. What tribe is it? Uhhh let me think about that one,” Trump said, mocking Warren's continued claim of being part Cherokee based on "family stories."

Trump began his DNA test bit by saying, “I promise you I’ll do this, you know those little kits they sell on television for $2? Learn your heritage?”

He continued, “I’m going to get one of those little kits and in the middle of the debate, when she proclaims she’s of Indian heritage — because her mother said she has high cheekbones, that’s her only evidence.”

Trump was echoing comments he made throughout his 2016 presidential campaign and most recently he restated this at the Nevada GOP Convention last month where he also spoke about Rep. Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.).

Warren had a chance to fire back via tweet, saying, “Maybe you should focus on fixing the lives you're destroying.”

Trump then made a humorous jab at the press, adding, “And the press is very honorable. Please don’t tell her what I just said.”
