News outlets like CNBC seemed to scoff at Trump's concerns in a viral tweet posted on Monday morning when he said:

"Sadly, it looks like Mexico’s Police and Military are unable to stop the Caravan heading to the Southern Border of the United States. Criminals and unknown Middle Easterners are mixed in. I have alerted Border Patrol and Military that this is a National Emergy. Must change laws!"

His concern about unvetted middle-easterners (from terror hotbeds presumably) infiltrating America alongside this march of migrants seemed to be vindicated later that day by the discovery of a Friday broadcast.

According to the Daily Caller, a reporter named Francisco Santa Abba employed by the Spanish-speaking Univision network has claimed in a Friday report that people from Bangladesh have joined the massive migrant caravan making its way to cross the US border. Those he could verify were currently being held in an immigration/detention facility. He commented:

Yesterday when we were traveling through Guatemala, we noticed people from El Salvador and even people from Bangladesh,” he continued. “Can you imagine what they had to do to get here? They infiltrated themselves in this caravan and tried to cross with the crowd. That would have benefited them greatly.

The Daily Caller also notes the fact that Bangladesh has one of the world's largest Muslim populations, larger than Iran, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia combined as mentioned by Georgetown professor C Christine Fair in her essay "Political Islam and Islamist Terrorism in Bangladesh: What You Need to Know." She also noted in this paper how terror organizations have been ramping up their operations within the region.
