Because it’s relatively new, there isn’t much information afforded to the public on the vaccines that were developed to combat the Chinese coronavirus (COVID-19). That being said, the COVID-19 vaccine has just received a big endorsement from a former president.
Former President Donald Trump told Fox News host Maria Bartiromo on Tuesday that he “would recommend” for everyone to take the vaccine.
“I would recommend it and I would recommend it to a lot of people that don't want to get it and a lot of those people voted for me, frankly," Trump said. “But you know, again, we have our freedoms and we have to live by that, and I agree with that also. But, it's a great vaccine, it's a safe vaccine and it's something that works.”
Fox News reported that both Trump and former first lady Melania Trump “received their vaccines privately in January at the White House.”
