President Trump at the White House on Tuesday was asked to respond to rumors that Oprah Winfrey is considering a 2020 presidential bid.

He seemed unconcerned, saying he would beat her and that it “would be a lot of fun.”

“Yeah, I’ll beat Oprah,” said Trump. “Oprah would be a lot of fun. I know her very well… I like Oprah. I don’t think she’s going to run.”

Oprah and speculation surrounding a 2020 White House bid made headlines after her speech at the Golden Globes Sunday night.

During her acceptance speech of the Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award, Winfrey talked about the #MeToo movement and proclaimed that “a new day is on the horizon," a message many took as a potential campaign rallying cry.

Winfrey has not confirmed nor denied the rumors but has reportedly been urged to run by her close friends.

Her best friend and CBS co-anchor Gayle King said Tuesday on "CBS This Morning" that she doesn't think Winfrey is "actively considering" a 2020 run despite all the chatter, but that "she loves this country and would like to be of service in some way."
