President Trump met with FIFA President Gianni Infantino and the President of U.S. Soccer Carlos Cordeiro in the Oval Office on Tuesday.

During the meeting to celebrate North America winning its bid for the 2026 World Cup, Infantino gifted Trump a red card and explained what referees use them for during soccer games.

In Trump fashion, he jokingly gave the red card to the reporters covering the meeting.

“In soccer we have referees, and they have cards,” said Infantino. “The yellow card is a warning. And when you want to kick out someone —”

Trump immediately grabbed the card and fake-handed it to the press.

Infantino and even some of the reporters laughed.

“That’s very good. I like that,” said Trump, smiling.

"Could be useful for the next media session," Infantino joked.
