President Trump has authorized the release of the complete transcript of his phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky earlier this year.

“I am currently at the United Nations representing our Country, but have authorized the release tomorrow of the complete, fully declassified and unredacted transcript of my phone conversation with President Zelensky of Ukraine,” Trump tweeted Tuesday. “You will see it was a very friendly and totally appropriate call. No pressure and, unlike Joe Biden and his son, NO quid pro quo! This is nothing more than a continuation of the Greatest and most Destructive Witch Hunt of all time!”

Democrats have claimed that the nature of the president’s call regarding former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter is cause for impeachment proceedings to begin. Hunter once sat on the board of a Ukrainian gas company and Democrats believe Trump may have asked Zelensky to investigate him.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi is expected to announce if she supports a formal impeachment inquiry into the president later today.
