At a rally in Dimondale, Mich., on Friday, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump urged African-American voters to support him come November.
“Tonight, I’m asking for the vote of every single African-American citizen in this country who wants to see a better future,” said Trump.
“Look how much African-American communities have suffered under Democratic control,” he continued. “To those I say the following: What do you have to lose by trying something new, like Trump?”
“We can never fix our problems by relying on the same policies that created our problems in the first place,” Trump argued. “A new future requires brand new leadership.”
