Mount Holyoke College (MHC) in Massachusetts might want to rethink its curriculum for some of its students, because a portion of those students seem so disengaged from anything resembling reality that all you can do is scratch your head when reading about some of their actions.

A bunch of students at MHC are apparently super afraid of being as safe as they possibly could be, because they’re reportedly going to protest a Western Massachusetts Police Academy graduation occurring on Friday.

According to the Daily Wire:

In an announcement to students, the school’s administration warned students about the police presence but told said that there is "no need to be alarmed.”

"This notification is being made to make you aware of the many police officers and police vehicles you may see here on Thursday morning, April 11th for rehearsal, and again on Friday, April 12th for graduation," the announcement said. "There is no need to be alarmed. In the spirit of collaboration with our neighboring towns in Western Massachusetts we look forward to welcoming the 40 new officers to the Pioneer Valley.”

The announcement also said that there would be potentially 500 guests at the event.

Seems pretty benign, right? Don’t tell that to the students at the “all women’s school.” Just being a cop is seemingly akin to being a part of a death squad of some sort, if you go by the language they used in a flyer to describe the graduation ceremony to others.

Here’s what the flyer said:

ATTENTION

OUR ADMINISTRATION IS WELCOMING A LARGE NUMBER OF ARMED INDIVIDUALS from a known paramilitary organization with a documented history of white supremacist and patriarchal violence (THE POLICE) TO MOVE FREELY AROUND MOUNT HOLYOKE, making campus especially unsafe(er) for Black women, women of color, Black queer and trans folks, queer and trans folks of color, non-Black/POC [Person of color] queer & trans folks, undocumented folks, and disabled folks. This includes students, staff, faculty and also affects surrounding community members.

THIS IS REASON TO BE ALARMED!

No. No, it’s not. In fact, I bet all of those “woke” students would be a heck of a lot safer with a bunch of cops around them than with a bunch of modern feminists around them. Just saying.

Did all of you digest that identity politics, virtue signaling word salad that they dished out in the flyer? Couldn’t you just say “queer and trans folks” by itself and not have to include every single possible type of queer and/or trans folks?

There was a subsequent student-drafted email that went out that was equally as stupid as the original flyer.

“I am in opposition to Mount Holyoke hosting an event which lauds an institution that is historically based in white supremacist and patriarchal values and which continues to both reap the benefits and perpetuate the values of such systems,” the email read in part.

Stop it. Their brains have to hurt after spouting that much ignorance. Right? They’ve got to.

Police officers will still answer calls that originate from the college, as they would be fulfilling their duty to serve and protect. Do students who show such blatant hatred towards a group of people deserve to have that protection? While it would teach them a lesson for the cops to ignore them, they all deserve that protection. And that’s the difference between the multitude of ignorant people at MHC and the police.

I honestly don’t understand why parents would ever bribe anyone to get their child into a certain college when they’re already being screwed out of tens of thousands of dollars a year for their child to come out dumber.

Your social justice degree won’t be enough to pay off the student loans you’ll cry to the rest of us about four to eight years from now. Instead of having aptitude tests to determine how intelligent someone on a college campus might be, maybe they should switch the test to see how far someone has regressed during their time at said college.
