The transgender agenda is on the move from bathrooms to the capital. Democratic primary voters in Colorado’s 5th congressional district and Utah's 1st congressional district nominated two transgender women, both named "Misty," in their repective primaries heading into the November election.

Misty Snow, in addition to being transgender, is a 30-year-old grocery clerk who won the Democratic primary in Utah's 1st district on an enthusiastically pro-choice platform. Snow will face conservative Republican incumbent Mike Lee in the general election.

Misty Plowright of Colorado’s 5th district is 33 and works in IT. Plowright is also an outspoken Bernie Sanders fan, an army veteran, and has had a "wife" for nine years. Both are in a two-year-old relationship with their "mutual partner," Sebastian. Plowright’s website states that, “All three partners support each other emotionally, physically and financially.”

Plowright will run against Republican incumbent Doug Lamborn.

Although these candidates have garnered a lot of attention from the media, neither face a good chance of actually winning the general election, as both are running in highly conservative areas.
