A transgender woman (also known as a confused biological man) epically crashed CNN’s town hall for Democratic presidential candidates Thursday night, stealing the microphone from another woman and charging the stage while demanding to know why CNN has “erased black trans women.”
The man erupted from the audience and stole the microphone from a mother who was asking a question beside her own elementary-age daughter who identifies as a transgender boy.
“Let me tell you something. Black trans women are being killed in this country, and CNN, you have erased black trans women for the last time!” the man began his bizarre tirade, before heading toward the stage screaming that he “deserve[s] to be here.”
“I’m gonna say what I’m gonna say!” he continued, as host Don Lemon awkwardly tried to get ahold of the situation by repeatedly interjecting, “Ma’am.”
The man, who finally introduced himself as “Blossom,” finally calmed down enough to let Lemon get a few words in edgewise.
“Blossom, let me tell you something,” Lemon said. “The reason that we're here is to validate people like you. That is why we're giving – but that's why we're here.”
“Hold on, we can’t hear you. Blossom, we can't hear you,” he said, handing the man the mic.
“Baby, your actions have to speak louder than words,” Blossom started up again. “Because guess what? Not one black transwoman has taken the mic tonight! Not one black transman has taken the mic tonight! Show me!”
